How to dress for a wedding: Daytime to Nighttime
Yesterday, I attended a wedding! Weddings are my absolute favorite! I love getting all dressed up, eating good food, socializing, and of course dominating the dance floor! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was like a fairtale wedding. Attending a wedding is a great excuse to buy a new dress and really slay the outfit game! For the church, (above) I wore a limey-yellowy dress (which has POCKETS!) it is super flattering and I love the fit. For shoes, I wore my new white lace up heels I purchased from Missguided. I wanted to wear these heels because I wanted to get used to how they felt so I was hurting during the night. But I soooo love how they look with this dress!! The limey/yellow and the white are perfect together! I finished off my daytime look with a small clutch (that I also wore with my nighttime look).
Transitioning to my nighttime look, I wanted to wear a darker color to emphasize and compliment the time of night. For my reception look, I wore my new Missguided dress. It's a slinky kimono style that has a twisted detail in the center, which makes it super flattering. The sleeves are longer, which I don't normally wear and the bottom is more fitted, which I love! Now my favorite part, the deep neckline, gave me some options as far as jewelry goes. I decided to go with a layered look. I chose a thicker chocker, which I'm obsessed with how they go together, and a longer necklace that meets toward the ends. My makeup look was super dramatized such went well with my nighttime look! And of course I so obsessed with my shoes, the lace up trend is a must for the summertime!
